Champagne Vazart-Coquart
Spécial Club Magnum 2018
The Champagne Special Club by Vazart-Coquart originates from Chouilly, a Grand Cru in the Côte des Blancs, and is a Blanc de Blancs that represents the highest expression of the Domaine, a Millésime selected exclusively in the most favorable vintages from Chardonnay vines averaging around 45 years of age, rooted in chalky soils rich in belemnite, which give the wine a distinctive mineral finesse and a precise expression of the terroir.
This edition, Millésime 2018, shows maturity and generosity through vinification and fermentation mainly in stainless steel, with a portion in oak that enhances structure. After tirage, the wine undergoes extended aging on the lees for a minimum of 7 years, building complexity and depth. The final dosage, below 3 g/l, in Extra Brut style, supports the wine’s elegance and purity with precision.
On tasting, Special Club 2018 reveals a broad and refined profile, with notes of ripe citrus, white flowers, and delicate pastry hints. On the palate, it is enveloping yet driven by vibrant freshness and a marked mineral backbone. The finish is long and precise, with an elegant close that invites another sip.
