Spécial Club Rosé 2021
The Champagne Spécial Club Rosé by Vazart-Coquart originates from the Grand Cru of Chouilly, a terroir historically devoted to Chardonnay, yet here interpreted through Pinot Noir alone, giving shape to a cuvée that expresses with remarkable intensity the most generous and structured side of the grape variety. Sourced from the Lieu-Dit “Le Revers de Plumecoq”, this Rosé de Saignée reflects a precise vision, focused on enhancing the terroir through a distinctive and unconventional approach.
This edition, Millésime 2021, is crafted from Pinot Noir processed through maceration to extract color, structure, and aromatic intensity. Vinification and fermentation take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, without malolactic fermentation, in order to preserve freshness and tension. After tirage, the wine ages on its lees for at least 48 months. The final dosage of 3.5 g/l, in Extra Brut style, supports a precise and coherent profile.
On tasting, Spécial Club Rosé 2021 shows an intense and bright pink color with a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet reveals fresh red fruits, citrus notes, and delicate floral nuances, with subtle mineral hints in the background. On the palate, it is vibrant and structured, with well-integrated freshness and a long, harmonious finish, leading to an elegant and dynamic close.
