Champagne R.H. Coutier
Cuvée Rosé
The Champagne Cuvée Rosé by R.H. Coutier originates from the prestigious Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, a benchmark in the Montagne de Reims, where estate-owned vines are rooted in predominantly limestone soils, rich in chalk, marl, and limestone. It is crafted from a blend of 40% Pinot Noir and 60% Chardonnay, based on the 2021 harvest with the addition of 23% vin de réserve, ensuring stylistic consistency and balance.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel, preserving freshness and aromatic purity, followed by ageing after tirage of around 36 months on the lees, which enhances the wine’s depth and complexity. The Extra Brut dosage, set at 4,5 g/l, highlights the quality of the fruit and clearly expresses the character of its terroir of origin.
On the palate, Cuvée Rosé is broad and velvety, with a subtle creamy note accompanying ripe red fruit nuances, enriched by floral hints and a vibrant freshness. A Champagne Rosé of great finesse and balance, and an authentic expression of the Ambonnay terroir.
