Millésime 2015
The Champagne Millésime 2015 by R.H. Coutier is crafted from a blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay, sourced exclusively from the Grand Cru vineyards of Ambonnay in the Montagne de Reims. Here, the chalky soils, rich in marl and limestone, provide the grapes with depth, structure, and elegance, giving life to wines of remarkable intensity and longevity.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel to preserve aromatic purity and varietal expression, followed by a long ageing period of at least 7 years on the lees after bottling. The restrained dosage, in Extra Brut style with only 3 g/l, highlights the power of the fruit and the authentic character of the terroir, striking a perfect balance between richness and freshness.
On the palate, the Millésime 2015 reveals itself as soft and rounded, with a broad and enveloping profile lifted by a vibrant minerality.
