The Champagne Cuvée Tradition by R.H. Coutier is crafted from a classic and distinctive blend: 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, sourced exclusively from the Grand Cru vineyards of Ambonnay, one of the most renowned villages of the Montagne de Reims. In this terroir, the chalk-rich soils and privileged exposure ensure grapes of great ripeness, capable of producing wines of intensity, depth, and structure. The predominance of Pinot Noir imparts power and fullness, while Chardonnay brings freshness and balance.

Vinification takes place in stainless steel, preserving the purity of the fruit and the authentic expression of the terroir. After tirage, the wine matures for about 3 years on the lees, developing finesse and complexity. The low dosage enhances the fruity character and mineral backbone, resulting in a dynamic, genuine, and harmonious cuvée that faithfully reflects the style of Ambonnay.

On the palate, Cuvée Tradition reveals a bright golden hue with a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet offers aromas of ripe yellow fruit, quince, candied citrus, and subtle spicy notes. Generous and enveloping, the palate shows breadth and depth driven by the strength of Pinot Noir, perfectly balanced by the mineral freshness of Chardonnay. A Champagne with a vinous yet refined character, uniting richness of substance with aromatic finesse.
