Champagne Pertois-Moriset
Les Jutées 2016
The Champagne Les Jutées 2016 by Pertois-Moriset is the signature cuvée of the Domaine, a Blanc de Blancs sourced from a single parcel of Chardonnay located in the prestigious Grand Cru of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the Côte des Blancs. The vineyard, planted in 1983 in the Lieu-dit “Les Jutées”, stands out for its full southern exposure and a soil that alternates superficial clay layers with a chalky component already present from the first 30 cm of depth.
Harvested in 2016, this wine is vinified 80% in stainless steel and 20% in fût de chêne, with an ageing period of about 9 months before tirage. It then undergoes a long maturation on its lees for at least 60 months, with a final dosage of just 1.5 g/l, in true Extra Brut style, to fully express the purity of the Lieu-dit.
On the palate, Les Jutées 2016 impresses with its refined expression. The nose reveals citrus notes and delicate fruity hints, accompanied by deeper nuances of yeast and honey. The mouthfeel is enveloping and vibrant, with an ultra-fine perlage, elegant texture, and well-defined structure, balanced by bright acidity and chalky minerality.
An exclusive production, limited to 1,856 bottles and 100 magnums, reflects the artisanal and meticulous approach of Domaine Pertois-Moriset.
