Coteaux Champenois Jérôme Lefèvre
No Title Required (After Robert Ryman) 2023
The Coteaux Champenois “No Title Required (after Robert Ryman)” by Jérôme Lefèvre is a still white wine made from 100% Chardonnay, sourced from the Les Douaires parcel in Mont de Bonneil, in the Vallée de la Marne. The vines, cultivated under organic farming, fully reflect the Maison’s philosophy of respecting the environment and seeking territorial authenticity.
From the 2023 harvest, this Coteaux Champenois follows an essential and transparent vinification, with no filtration, designed to preserve the purest expression of the terroir. Bottled in August 2024, it was produced in only 800 bottles, each of which rested for an additional 12 months in bottle before release.
On the palate, No Title Required reveals a profile of rare finesse: aromas of white flowers, fresh citrus, and a marked mineral character weave together into an elegant and vibrant bouquet. The taste is that of a pure, rigorous Chardonnay, with vertical tension, aromatic precision, and a persistent finish closing on chalky and saline notes.
A Coteaux Champenois of research and craftsmanship, conceived for a few enthusiasts, embodying the creative and experimental vision of Jérôme Lefèvre.
