Cuvée Hunger for Speed
The Champagne Hunger for Speed by Maison Jérôme Lefèvre is a limited-edition single-vineyard cuvée, the continuation of a project born to explore the boldest boundaries of Meunier expression. Made from 100% Meuniersourced from old vines in the Lieu-Dit Les Chouttes, near Charly-sur-Marne (Vallée de la Marne), it offers an extreme interpretation of Brut Nature: the absence of dosage is balanced by the glyceric richness resulting from natural sugars not fully converted during alcoholic fermentation.
On the nose, Hunger for Speed reveals an intense and evocative personality, marked by notes of smoke, baked pear, ripe apricot, and honey. The palate is surprisingly broad and harmonious, with an aromatic sweetness evoking candied apricots, almond cheesecake, and fruit gelée candies, all lifted by a fresh, citrusy finish that enhances both structure and balance.
This visionary cuvée was produced in only 1,500 numbered bottles, a testament to its uniqueness and to the ongoing pursuit of expressive identity that defines the Maison’s philosophy.
