The Champagne As Tongue Meets Ash by Maison Jérôme Lefèvre is a Blanc de Blancs blended from Chardonnay and other forgotten varieties (Cépage s Oubliés) such as Arbane, Petit Meslier and Pinot Blanc. Harvest 2020, pellicular maceration for about 5 months in fût de chêne and over 24 months maturing on its lees before disgorgin the wine.

A decidedly original territorial Champagne, with an intense golden colour and pleasing charm.

Produced in a limited and numbered edition of just 77 Magnum bottles.

Jérôme Lefèvre, formerly known as the producer of Delalot Champagnes, has created Maison Jérôme Lefèvre, a new project focused on the production of collectible Champagnes alongside red and white Côteaux Champenois, developed from a small vineyard of 0.5 hectares located in the village of Essômes-sur-Marne, in the Vallée de la Marne.

Maison Jérôme Lefèvre has set itself the goal of experimentation: starting with an organic production system and thanks to the collaboration of trusted Vigneron colleagues, it elaborates a single cuvée per year, the result of new and exclusive blends, thus giving the possibility to explore unprecedented Champagne and create unrepeatable experiences.

By keeping the values of sustainability and creativity intact and at the heart of his winemaking, Jérôme Lefèvre offers a collection of contemporary, bold and never banal wines that are sure to remain in the taster's memory.
