Rosé Potion Pimpante 2021
The Champagne Rosé Potion Pimpante by Les Frères Mignon is conceived as a Rosé de Saignée of marked intensity and expressive tension, crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir from Damery and Chardonnay from Cumières. This cuvée offers an artisanal interpretation of the 2021 vintage, delivering an authentic reading of the terroir through precise winemaking and a vision focused on purity of origin.
The 2021 harvest is processed through a maceration of around 15 days, a technique that imparts depth of colour and a strong sense of identity to the wine. After tirage, the wine ages for over 36 months on the lees, developing aromatic complexity and a layered profile. The final dosage of 0.8 g/l, in Extra Brut style, reflects the essential approach of Florent and Julien Mignon, dedicated to the transparency of the fruit and a crystalline expression of the terroir.
On tasting, Rosé Potion Pimpante reveals a taut, juicy and vibrant profile, with an energetic entry highlighting notes of small red berries, ripe citrus fruits and a subtle spicy nuance derived from the maceration. On the palate, the structure is clear and savoury, supported by a precise, direct acidic backbone. The finish is incisive, marked by a persistent fruity and mineral character that underscores the overall balance and the cuvée’s territorial identity.
