Champagne Les Freres Mignon
L'Aventure
The Champagne L’Aventure by Les Frères Mignon is a Blanc de Blancs of remarkable precision, crafted from Chardonnay grapes sourced from three selected parcels in the Côte des Blancs. Two are located in the prestigious Grand Cru villages of Avize and Cramant, while the third lies in Cuis Premier Cru, creating a blend that combines mineral tension, elegance, and aromatic depth. The vines, averaging around fifty years of age, deliver fruit of notable concentration and finesse, authentically expressing the chalky and luminous character of this Champagne terroir.
This edition, with 2021 as the base harvest, reflects the artisanal vision of Florent and Julien Mignon through vinification and fermentation carried out entirely in stainless steel, without fining or filtration, preserving the purest expression of Chardonnay and the transparency of the terroir. After tirage, the wine undergoes at least 36 months of lees ageing. The final dosage of 3.2 g/l, in Extra Brut style, supports a tense and refined balance in keeping with the Maison’s essential and contemporary identity.
In tasting, L’Aventure reveals an elegant and crystalline profile marked by notes of ripe white and yellow fruit, citrus zest, and delicate hints of candied fruit. On the palate, the mousse is creamy and finely integrated, supported by a sharp mineral texture that carries the wine toward a persistent, deep, and dynamic finish capable of expressing the identity of its original parcels with precision.
