Champagne Leclerc Briant

The Champagne Rosé by Leclerc Briant is born from the meeting of different and complementary terroirs of Champagne, where the Chardonnay from Chouilly and Montgueux joins the red-vinified Pinot Noir from the vines of Cumières. This cuvée tells a philosophy bound to respect for nature and the vitality of the soil, expressing a contemporary soul in which freshness, fruity energy and elegance merge to give life to a vibrant Rosé, with a character at once gastronomic and crystalline.
This edition, harvest 2022, shows a clear predominance of Chardonnay grapes completed by 11% red-vinified Pinot Noir that defines its colour and character. After tirage comes an ageing on the lees of at least 30 months, which develops depth and harmony while preserving the wine's tension. The final dosage of 3.4 g/l, in Extra Brut style, underlines an elegant, crystalline style, dry and of great gustatory precision.
On tasting, it reveals a bright pink-orange hue embellished with intense salmon reflections, foreshadowing a fresh, seductive bouquet in which crisp aromas of apricot, orange and kumquat give way to deeper nuances of wild strawberry and blackcurrant. On the palate it shows itself rich and concentrated, with a juicy, enveloping fruity substance, well balanced by a lively acidity that supports its weave, leading to a finish of rare lightness and vinosity, in a refined synthesis of energy and grace.
