The Champagne Prestige is a cuvée that embodies the soul of Jean Vesselle, renowned for its mastery in interpreting Pinot Noir both as a varietal and in blend. This label is born from a meticulous selection of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay harvested from vineyards located in the prestigious Grand Cru of Bouzy, a terroir that lends structure, intensity, and character to the wine.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature to preserve aromatic freshness, with the addition of a percentage of vin de réserve that ensures complexity and stylistic consistency. The long aging on the lees – well beyond the minimum requirements of the appellation – imparts depth and an elegant creaminess. The final dosage, in Brut style, maintains balance and precision on the palate, enhancing the natural harmony of the cuvée.
On the palate, Prestige reveals a bright golden hue, animated by a fine and persistent perlage. The nose opens with complex aromas of ripe yellow fruit, white flowers, pastry notes, and a mineral nuance typical of the Bouzy terroir. The palate is rich and enveloping, with vibrant freshness and a long finish, sustained by refined minerality and remarkable elegance.
