The Côteaux Champenois Rouge 2022 by Brocard Pierre is a red wine made from 100% Pinot Noir, sourced exclusively from the La Martinée parcel (Lieu-Dit), located near the village of Celles-sur-Ource in the heart of the Côte des Bar. The grapes, vinified with whole bunches, undergo fermentation with approximately 9 days of maceration in concrete tanks, a choice that enhances aromatic extraction and fruit definition. This is followed by aging for about 12 months in 300-liter oak barrels before bottling in September 2023, a step that contributes to integrating structure and elegance.
On the palate, this Côteaux Champenois Rouge 2022 stands out for its rich and gastronomic profile, capable of combining intensity and finesse. The texture is well balanced, with ripe fruit notes interacting with the typical structure of Pinot Noir, offering depth, dynamism, and a harmonious finish.
