The Champagne L’Égarée by Thibaud Brocard – Domaine Pierre Brocard – originates from the Haute Frion parcel, on soils of hard Portlandian limestone with light brown clay, a setting that provides tension and depth while preserving momentum and elegance. This cuvée stands out for the balance between Pinot Noir (50%) and Chardonnay (50%), an equal dialogue that combines structure and verticality, substance and finesse, interpreting the Côte des Bar with a dynamic and contemporary profile.

This edition, Millésime 2020, involves pressing with a traditional 4000 kg vertical Coquard press, followed by vinification and fermentation entirely in 400L oak barrels, a choice that brings complexity and aromatic depth thanks to a medium toast of the wood. After bottling, the wine undergoes lees aging for a minimum of 4 years, a period that integrates the oak component while maintaining balance and precision. The absence of final dosage, in Brut Nature style, highlights with clarity and transparency the personality of the parcel and the integrity of the blend.

On the nose, L’Égarée 2020 reveals an intense and harmonious aromatic profile, with notes of coriander, light hints of vanilla, and delicate spicy and woody nuances. On the palate, it shows balance and fluidity, with a well-defined structure supported by lively freshness. The progression is broad and continuous, with a texture that combines energy and finesse, leading to a persistent and refined finish.
