The Champagne Grande Vallée by Fabrice Pouillon is born from the meeting of five villages of the Vallée de la Marne, Mareuil, Mutigny, Avenay, Épernay and Festigny, where the geological interweaving of chalk and clay draws the most authentic identity of this territory. The flagship wine of the Maison, it brings character and elegance into dialogue, the result of an attentive viticulture respectful of the natural rhythm of the vine.

This edition, based 70% on the 2022 harvest, completed by 20% of 2021 and 10% of vin de réserve, shows a predominance of Pinot Noir grapes alongside Meunier and Chardonnay. Vinification and maturation take place in barriques, with spontaneous fermentation from indigenous yeasts, while the ageing of the vin de réserve in French oak barrels and foudres builds depth and complexity. Made according to the Méthode Fabrice Pouillon, without any addition of sugar, the cuvée draws solely on the natural sugars of the grape. After bottling comes an ageing on the lees for at least 24 months, while the final dosage of 2 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, enhances its purity and precision.

On tasting, Grande Vallée reveals a broad and vinous profile, supported by a silky structure and a mineral tension that balances its generosity. Tones of ripe fruit intertwine with spicy nuances and a chalky base that lends momentum and definition to the palate, in a texture that is dense yet slender. The balance between power and elegance delivers a long and vibrant persistence, where the saline minerality signs off a clean, deep finish of great expressive coherence.
