The Champagne Prestige by William Saintot is crafted from grapes sourced from Premier Cru vineyards in the Grande Vallée de la Marne, cultivated with respect for natural balance and sustainable practices. A defining element of this cuvée is the solera started in 2010, a réserve perpétuelle that brings depth and continuity over time. The dominance of Pinot Noir shapes the wine’s structure and identity, offering a precise expression of the terroir and the Saintot family’s style.
This edition, based on the 2022 harvest and enhanced by 30% réserve perpétuelle, is built on a balance of Pinot Noir (70%) and Chardonnay (30%), sourced from Premier Cru vineyards in Avenay-Val-d’Or and Bisseuil. Vinification and fermentation take place in oak barrels and foudres, with a portion in stainless steel to preserve freshness and precision. After tirage, the wine ages on its lees for at least 18 months. The final dosage of less than 3 g/l, in Extra Brut style, defines a taut and focused profile.
On the palate, Prestige shows a bright golden yellow color with a fine, persistent mousse. The aromatic profile reveals notes of ripe yellow fruit, citrus, and delicate hints of red berries, complemented by subtle spice and toasted nuances. It stands out for its structure and depth, supported by vibrant freshness and a precise texture, leading to a well-balanced, long, and savory finish.
