The Champagne Le Mont Benoit by Emmanuel Brochet is a refined blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay, sourced from the homonymous Lieu-Dit located near the village of Villers-aux-Nœuds, classified Premier Cru in the Montagne de Reims. A distinctive parcel that Brochet interprets with an artisanal approach and great attention to the balance of the terroir.

This edition, base vintage 2017, is enriched with 70% réserve perpétuelle from vintages spanning 2016 back to 2011. Vinification and maturation take place in oak barrels for around 11 months, contributing to greater structure and complexity. After tirage, the wine rests on its lees in bottle for over 7 years, developing depth, breadth and a progressively refined aromatic profile. Presented in magnum format, this edition benefits from a slower and more harmonious evolution, enhancing precision, tension and expressive potential. No final dosage, in Brut Nature style, underlining its essential and rigorous character.

On tasting, Le Mont Benoit Magnum shows a deep and layered profile, where notes of ripe fruit, candied citrus and delicate toasted nuances intertwine with chalky and spicy hints. On the palate it reveals a broad and precise structure, supported by a fine texture and well-balanced tension that guides the progression. The finish is long and articulated, with a saline and vibrant close that highlights balance, clarity and remarkable ageing potential. Production is limited, with only 200 magnums released.
