Coteaux Champenois Pierre Gerbais

Rouge 2020

The Côteaux Champenois Rouge 2020 by Pierre Gerbais is a red wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes harvested exclusively from the Lieu-Dit Beauregard, a north-facing vineyard in an isolated, breezy position near the village of Celles-sur-Ource (Côte de Bars). Vinification occurs for about 50% from whole bunches and ageing lasts for about 10 months in steel vats, before bottling for only 2,107 bottles.

The Côteaux Champenois Rouge 2020 by Pierre Gerbais is an elegant, fine, fresh red wine with beautiful fruit and balance.

Chamapgne Pierre Gerbais is located in Celles-sur-Ource, a village in the Côte des Bars. Different generations of wine makers has led to a stimulating and innovative reality, thanks to Pascal Gerbais, managing the cave since 1996. He also introduced biological and natural methods.


Nowadays the maison owns 14 hectares and offers one of the most classical vines of the region: the rare Pinot Blanc, in its variety "Vrai". Integrated lots, fusion between innovation and tradition, a reduced usage of sulphurs are the main features of the high quality production of this rising Maison.
