The Coteaux Champenois Rouge Les Grands Jardins by Marx-Coutelas emerges as an identity-driven expression of a historic lieu-dit planted in 1969 in Venteuil, in the Vallée de la Marne, where Pinot Noir finds an ideal balance between clay-limestone soils, sunlit exposures, and a viticulture that prioritizes precision, soil respect, and an artisanal reading of the landscape. It is one of the most authentic interpretations of Champagne’s tradition of still wines—rare and deeply connected to its originating terroir.

This 2020 vintage is produced from 100% Pinot Noir, vinified with spontaneous fermentations and aged for about a year and a half in Burgundy barrels, without fining or filtration, following an essential and transparent winemaking philosophy focused on purity and expressive clarity. Production is extremely limited, often coming from just a few barriques, reflecting the artisanal nature of the project and the desire to preserve the integrity and identity of the Lieu-Dit Les Grands Jardins.

On the palate, Les Grands Jardins opens with notes of cherry, raspberry, and small red berries, followed by hints of underbrush, delicate spices, and earthy nuances.
