Champagne Pertois-Lebrun
L'extravertie
The Champagne L’Extravertie by Pertois-Lebrun is an elegant Blanc de Blancs, crafted from 100% Chardonnay sourced from the family’s vineyards spread across the Domaine’s seven villages in the Côte des Blancs. The parcels include prestigious crus such as Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Oiry, Cramant, and Chouilly (Grand Cru), as well as the Premier Crus of Cuis and Villeneuve.
This edition, based on the 2021 vintage and enriched with 14% vin de réserve from the 2020 harvest, undergoes vinification and ageing partly in fût de chêne. After tirage, the wine matures for a minimum of 30 months on the lees before disgorgement, with an Extra Brut dosage limited to 3 g/l.
In tasting, L’Extravertie reveals an elegant golden-yellow hue with subtle amber reflections. On the nose, it expresses a generous, radiant personality, with notes of dried fruit, ripe fruit, and well-integrated oxidative nuances. On the palate, it impresses with its fine perlage and refined structure, unfolding complex aromas of walnuts, pastry cream, and toasted nuances, shaping a broad and enveloping flavour profile.
