The Champagne L'Ambitieuse by Pertois-Lebrun takes shape in the Côte des Blancs, where the Grand Cru villages of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oiry and Chouilly give Chardonnay one of its noblest, most luminous and nuanced expressions. A Blanc de Blancs of rare depth, it interprets a philosophy devoted to continuity and to the pursuit of finesse, in which every gesture in the vineyard preserves the memory of a chalky terroir able to imprint on the wine tension, verticality and an unmistakable personality.

This edition, from the 2021 harvest and half from a Réserve Perpétuelle begun in 2013, entrusts its vinification and maturation entirely to the fût de chêne, which lends structure and complexity without sacrificing varietal freshness. After the tirage comes an ageing on the lees of at least five years, capable of shaping an articulated aromatic weave and a very fine mousse, while the final dosage of 2,5 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, confirms an essential and precise approach.

On the palate, L'Ambitieuse shows a straw-yellow colour crossed by lively golden reflections, with an elegant and generous bouquet in which candied citrus interweaves with ripe fruit and delicate notes of fine pastry. On the palate it is broad and well-structured, sustained by a vibrant acidity and a marked mineral tension that heighten its balance and prolong its persistence in a finish that is luminous, savoury and of great expressive refinement.
