The Champagne Divine by Leclerc Briant is a refined interpretation of the Maison’s style, a true emblem of balance between tradition and artisanal savoir-faire. Its equal blend of 50% Meunier and 50% Chardonnay reveals a remarkable harmony between roundness and tension. The 2013 base vintage, enriched with 10% reserve wine from 2010 sourced from the Lieu-Dit Chèvres Pierreuses, lends the wine greater depth and captivating aromatic complexity.
Vinification in oak barrels for about eight months imparts softness and delicate spicy nuances, while over nine years of ageing on the lees enhance structure and finesse. The low dosage of 1.3 g/l, in Extra Brut style, preserves purity and mineral tension, highlighting the expressive clarity of this cuvée with its contemplative and elegant character.
On the palate, Divine reveals a luminous golden hue, animated by a fine and persistent stream of bubbles. The nose is generous and seductive, unfolding aromas of candied citrus, dried fruit, acacia honey, and subtle toasted notes. With aeration, hints of vanilla, brioche, and white flowers emerge. The palate is deep and creamy, supported by vibrant freshness and a chiselled minerality that extends into a long, saline, and refined finish.
