Champagne Julien Prélat

Millésime 2018

The Champagne Extra Brut Millésime 2018 by Julien Prélat is obtained by 100% Pinot Noir grapes coming from a plot aged 39 years old, planted on chalchy terroirs, rich in sea fossils and located in the village of Celler-sur-Ouce, in the Côtes des Bar. Harvest 2018, vinification in fût de chêne, as well as 48 months on its own yeasts for a final dosage of less than 5 g/l - making the wine an Extra Brut.

The Champagne Millésime has a great structure and complexity and is produced in a very limited quantity of 368 bottles, 9 magnums and 10 Jéroboams.

Julien Prélat

The Domaine Julien Prélat is located in the heart of Côte des Bar in the village of Celles-sur-Ource. It is with a love of well done work and a passion for wine that Karine and Julien offer Champagnes that reflect all the peculiarities of their terroir. Julien represents the fourth generation of winemakers in his family and applies a reasoned cultivation of the inherited land. His passion for oenology drives him to develop unique and rare wines, known as pure wines that fully express their different characteristics. At every stage of the production process, he is constantly striving for perfection, in order to satisfy his customers while respecting ancestral traditions.

Concerned about the land and the legacy to be left to future generations, Julien practises a quality and reasoned cultivation. Faithful to his principles, he is present in every phase of the life of his vineyards, from sowing to harvesting and the result is there to see: splendid vineyards and grapes of excellent quality. Julien vinifies each individual plot separately (lieux-dits) and keeps his wines in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels to ensure optimal product evolution. Ardent defender of 'Made in France', he only uses materials made 100% by French companies - true partners in his success.
