The Champagne La Closerie Fac-Simile from Domaine La Closerie stands as one of the most original and identity-driven interpretations of the Vallée de la Marne. Born from the artisanal vision of Jérôme Prévost, this Rosé embodies a philosophy rooted in minimalism, expressive transparency, micro-vinifications, and the enhancement of the Les Béguines terroir, the estate’s symbolic vineyard. Since its first vintage in 2007, the project has established itself as a true benchmark for lovers of handcrafted Champagne produced in extremely limited quantities.

This edition, based on the 2023 vintage, is crafted from Meunier sourced entirely from the Les Béguines lieu-dit, grown on clay-limestone soils rich in mineral energy, with the addition of 13% vin rouge from the same parcels. Vinification includes spontaneous fermentation, destemmed grapes, floating cap maceration, and the total absence of added SO₂. The wine ages for 10 months in 228-liter barriques, while tirage is carried out manually, without electricity, following a radical and artisanal approach. The Extra Brut dosage (2–3 g/l) preserves sharp definition, tension, and vibrant authenticity.

In tasting, Rosé Fac-Simile opens with a pale pink hue, luminous highlights, and a fine, steady mousse. The aromatic profile reveals fresh red berries, bright citrus, delicate floral notes, and a subtle chalky minerality. On the palate, it shows a finely tuned balance of acidity and energy, with a creamy texture contributed by the Meunier and a long, chiselled mineral persistence. A Rosé of remarkable expressive purity, produced in only 3,150 bottles, confirming Jérôme Prévost’s uniquely distinctive style.
