The Champagne La Closerie & by Domaine La Closerie represents one of the most emblematic and distinctive interpretations of the village of Gueux, where Jérôme Prévost cultivates a complex mosaic of parcels rooted in sandy soils rich in mineral energy. Predominantly based on Meunier, this Blanc de Noirs offers a precise reading of the Vallée de la Vesle, expressed through a style that blends craftsmanship, rigor, and transparency—qualities that have made Jérôme a true benchmark within the world of contemporary Champagne produced in extremely limited quantities.

This edition, from the 2023 base vintage, is crafted through fermentation and maturation in oak barriques, with spontaneous fermentation driven by indigenous yeasts and a minimally interventionist approach: no filtration, no fining, and maximum respect for the integrity of the wine. The final dosage, below 3 g/l in Extra Brut style, enhances purity, verticality, and precision.

On the palate, La Closerie & reveals intense aromas of ripe fruit, quince, candied citrus, and white flowers, enriched by subtle hints of hazelnut and delicate oxidative nuances. It combines density and freshness in an enveloping texture, energized by vibrant acidity and concluded by a persistent, saline, and finely sculpted finish.
