Terre Amoureuse 2021
The Champagne Terre Amoureuse 2021 by Denis Salomon is a Blanc de Noirs from a single vintage, a pure expression of the Vallée de la Marne. It is crafted from a blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Meunier, carefully selected from vineyards around Vandières and Venteuil, on soils particularly suited to precision viticulture. The grapes, harvested during the 2021 vintage, are vinified exclusively from the tête de cuvée juice, ensuring greater finesse and tension.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats, followed by a light filtration to preserve expressive purity. Malolactic fermentation is not induced, a choice that enhances the vibrant identity of the cuvée. The wine rests 5 years on the lees, developing complexity and depth, before being dosed at 4 g/l, thus falling within the Extra Brut category.
On tasting, Terre Amoureuse 2021 reveals a fresh and fruity bouquet, with a raw material that is clear and dynamic. On the palate, it confirms the olfactory sensations with a structured and fragrant profile, showcasing the Vigneron’s mastery in enhancing the expressive power of black grape varieties through a lens of absolute elegance.
