The Champagne Ambonnay Millésime by Bérêche et Fils takes shape in the prestigious Grand Cru village of Ambonnay, in the Montagne de Reims, from a single parcel – the Lieu-Dit “Feucheres” – planted with Pinot Noir. This Blanc de Noirs is crafted with the intention of delivering a precise and unfiltered expression of its terroir, through a parcel-based approach that enhances identity, depth, and mineral tension.

This edition, Millésime 2020, is made exclusively from Pinot Noir. The vintage was marked by steady climatic conditions, with gradual ripening and perfectly healthy grapes, capable of expressing both concentration and vibrant freshness. Vinification, with fermentation carried out by indigenous yeasts, takes place in neutral French oak barrels, a choice that enhances texture without interfering with the varietal profile. After tirage, the secondary fermentation occurs in bottle under natural cork, followed by at least 48 months on the lees, contributing to depth and aromatic complexity. The final dosage of 3.5 g/l, in the Extra Brut style, supports balance while preserving integrity and expressive precision.

On the nose and palate, Ambonnay Millésime 2020 reveals an intense and layered profile, with notes of ripe red berries, orange zest, delicate spices, and chalky nuances. On the palate it shows structure and precision: the texture is compact, driven by vibrant freshness and a marked mineral imprint leading to a long, deep finish, perfectly balanced between energy and finesse.
