The Champagne Union by Aurore Casanova is an assemblage cuvée that celebrates at once the union of two people and the meeting of two exceptional Grands Crus, born in equal parts from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir comes from the "Les Petites Vignes" plot in Puisieulx, in the northern part of the Montagne de Reims, from old massale-selection vines planted in 1968, while the Chardonnay comes from the "Rose et Jutées" plots in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the Côte des Blancs, on chalky soil with southern exposure.

This edition, obtained from the 2022 harvest with a portion of perpetual reserve begun in 2016, is vinified with spontaneous fermentations and matured in fût de chêne for around 10 months, without racking or filtration. Bottling is followed by ageing on the lees for a minimum of 36 months, while the final dosage, very low and in the Extra Brut style, heightens its tension and transparency.

On tasting, Union stands out for its luminous golden robe and a precise, thoroughbred palate. The mineral tension of the chalk brings a sensation of candied citrus zest, while the Pinot Noir broadens the structure and adds a fine complexity, closing on a long, elegant finish. Produced in a limited edition, each bottle individually numbered, in 5,569 units.
