The Champagne Zero by Tarlant is an emblematic cuvée that embodies the family’s artisanal vision with rigor and transparency. It is crafted from a rare blend of 32% Pinot Noir, 32% Meunier, 32% Chardonnay, and 4% of forgotten heirloom varieties — the so-called “Cépages Oubliés”, including Petit Meslier, Arbanne, and Pinot Blanc — representing one of the most authentic and radical expressions of the terroir of Œuilly, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne.

Vinification takes place in oak barrels, with spontaneous fermentations and no malolactic conversion, in order to preserve the identity of the vintage. The wine matures on the lees for at least six years before disgorgement, which is carried out without any dosage (0 g/l), in line with the Brut Nature style that has long defined the Domaine. The absence of added sugars and the exclusive use of estate-grown grapes reflect a pure, independent, and thoroughly consistent approach.

On the palate, Tarlant Zero impresses with its mineral energy and vibrant, layered profile. The nose reveals notes of citrus, quince, hazelnut, and delicate spices, lifted by floral and chalky nuances. The palate is tense, saline, and precise, with an ultra-fine mousse and a long, vertical finish that elegantly mirrors the depth of time and the truth of the soil.
