The Champagne Saignée des Tempêtées 2018 by Tarlant is a Rosé de Saignée of rare intensity, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Lieu-Dit "La Tempêtée", located in the village of Œuilly, in the Vallée de la Marne. This plot, planted on clay-limestone soils, is cultivated according to an ancestral and terroir-driven approach, which enhances every element of the vine's natural cycle. The cuvée is a clear statement by the Tarlant family: to preserve the integrity of the place of origin with rigor and passion.

The vinification follows a precise stylistic choice: whole bunches undergo a 16-hour maceration, a technique that extracts color and structure gently and naturally. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in fûts de chêne, with no corrective interventions, while the wine is aged for at least 60 months on the lees, in a slow process that enriches the aromatic complexity and depth. The style is defined by a zero dosage (Brut Nature), which allows the full expression of the vintage’s identity and the purity of the fruit.

On the palate, Saignée des Tempêtées 2018 reveals a deep and layered bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, wild herbs, light spices, and a sanguine nuance. The taste is linear and saline, supported by a vibrant tension and a long finish that confirms its character.

The production, strictly limited to 3,700 bottles, reflects the artisan soul of the project.
