The Champagne Force de Caractère by Manon Boutillez-Guer is a refined Blanc de Noirs, crafted from a blend of 55% Meunier and 45% Pinot Noir sourced from the lieux-dits “Le Mont Buton” and “Les Huchettes”, located near the village of Villers-Marmery in the Montagne de Reims. An expression of both strength and finesse, “Force de Caractère” embodies the dual nature of the Montagne’s Pinots: depth and generosity on one hand, precision and tension on the other. The 2019 harvest was vinified in stainless steel, followed by around 36 months of lees aging before disgorgement. The dosage of 7 g/l, in Brut style, enhances its balance and roundness.

On the palate, Force de Caractère displays an antique gold hue with delicate pink highlights. The nose is broad and complex, revealing creamy notes of choux pastry and praline, evolving toward aromas of blackcurrant cream and wild blueberry. The palate impresses with its richness and structure, sustained by a vibrant freshness, with flavors of yellow peach, apricot, and raspberry, leading to a tense, slightly tangy finish that prolongs the sensation of balance and depth.

Manon Boutillez-Guer interprets this cuvée with her essential and authentic style, combining natural elegance and artisanal sensitivity to convey the pure vitality of her terroir.
