The Champagne Millésime by Henriot embodies the vision the Maison devotes to its vintage wines, conceived as the interpretation of a singular year and a faithful reflection of the terroirs. Each Millésime is a unique creation, with its own selection of wines and an unrepeatable aromatic expression, the result of a philosophy initiated by Apolline Henriot and founded on the mastery of time, expressed in the chalky terroirs of Premiers and Grands Crus between the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs.

This edition, Vintage 2015, is born from a sun-drenched year marked by high temperatures and constant drought, conditions that gave rise to a rich and ripe fruit. The blend shows a predominance of Pinot Noir at 53%, completed by 47% Chardonnay, harvested in Trépail, Verzy, Verzenay, Avenay, Avize and Vertus. After tirage comes an ageing of at least eight years on its own lees, at the end of which the low final dosage of 2.5 g/l, in a Brut style, accompanies with measure a wine of great charisma.

On the palate, it is intense and generous, going beyond the solar character of the year thanks to a surprising finesse, where hints of ripe fruit intertwine with floral notes and delicate chalky nuances. The palate is broad and firm, sustained by a vibrant freshness and a very fine bubble, closing on a long and savoury finish that confirms the elegance and expressive coherence of this cuvée.
