Champagne Gaston Collard
Rosé de Maceration
The Champagne Rosé de Macération by Gaston Collard originates in the Grand Cru village of Bouzy, in the Montagne de Reims, from a single parcel (lieu-dit) La Haie de la Lue, located on the plain of the slope. Here Pinot Noir reveals an intense and textural character, interpreted through an artisanal vision that enhances the direct link between terroir, grape variety and winemaking gesture.
This edition, base vintage 2016, comes from a 24-hour maceration in stainless steel tanks with pump-overs, a technique that allows a calibrated extraction of colour and substance while preserving precision and elegance. After vinification and fermentation, the wine continues its evolution and, following tirage, undergoes ageing on the lees for about 60 months, increasing depth and complexity. The final dosage of 2 g/l, in Extra Brut style, supports the profile with balance and coherence.
In tasting stands out for an intense and defined profile, with notes of strawberry and raspberry intertwined with a deeper structure. On the palate it shows both structure and dynamism, supported by well-integrated freshness and a long, precise aromatic persistence.
