Champagne Emmanuel Brochet
Rosé d'assemblage
The Champagne Rosé d'Assemblage by Emmanuel Brochet is a refined expression of the Petite Montagne de Reims, made with a clear predominance of Meunier grapes from vines rooted in clay-limestone and sandy soils, which bestow on the wine tension, freshness and a mineral imprint. A Rosé capable of interpreting with precision the character of the terroir, giving Meunier an authentic and pure voice.
This edition, harvest 2023, features a blend with a clear predominance of Meunier grapes completed by 40% Chardonnay, vinified with an artisanal approach that involves eleven months of maturation in oak barrels, without fining or filtration, and with spontaneous fermentations from indigenous yeasts. After tirage, the wine ages at least 30 months on its own lees, developing complexity and balance. The final dosage, in Extra Brut style, enhances transparency and essentiality, bringing the grape variety and the terroir to the fore.
On tasting, the Rosé d'Assemblage shows a bright salmon colour and a fine, intriguing bouquet in which citrus, fresh red fruits and delicate floral hints intertwine with harmony. On the palate it is savoury and enveloping, supported by a vibrant freshness that accompanies its texture, leading to a long, precise and mineral finish, marked by notes of crisp strawberry and a subtle chalky vein. Production in a limited run of 7.824 bottles.
