Champagne Gamet
Rive Droite
The Champagne Rive Droite by Gamet is a Blanc de Noirs cuvée that embodies the generous soul of the Vallée de la Marne, the result of a blend of 85% Meunier and 15% Pinot Noir sourced from vines aged between 25 and 50 years in the villages of Damery and Fleury-la-Rivière. Here, on clay-limestone, sandy and marly soils, the grapes develop an authentic expressiveness deeply rooted in the terroir.
Vinification takes place entirely in stainless steel, enhancing the fruit’s freshness and immediacy, while the tirage is based on the 2022 harvest, enriched with 30% vins de réserve from 2021. The wine then ages for about 24 months on the lees, with a restrained dosage of 4 g/l, defining an Extra Brut style and maintaining a delicate balance between tension and softness.
On tasting, Rive Droite reveals a fresh and saline character, with an aromatic profile of white fruit, citrus, and subtle spicy notes. The palate is enveloping and creamy, supported by the roundness of Meunier and a savory persistence that invites another sip.
