Champagne Fleury
Variations 2018
The Champagne Variazione 2018 by Fleury is made exclusively from Pinot Gris, an ancient and rare grape variety classified as a cépage oublié of Champagne. Planted in 2010 and today cultivated only in selected parcels of the Côte des Bar, it represents a countercurrent choice, revived with the aim of offering an original and authentic interpretation of the terroir.
The vinification takes place in oak barrels, with no added sulphites and full malolactic fermentation. After tirage, the wine ages for a minimum of 5 years on the lees before disgorgement, carried out without any final dosage (0 g/l), defining a Brut Nature style that enhances both the natural complexity of the grape and the rigor of the Fleury family.
On the palate, Variazione 2018 reveals a powerful and enveloping texture: the nose opens with notes of yellow fruit, exotic fruit and fresh almond, while the mouthfeel shows generosity and precision. The finish, delicate and persistent, confirms the rare and vibrant personality of this unique cuvée.
