Fleur de l'Europe Magnum
The Champagne Fleur de l’Europe by Fleury marks a historic milestone, being the first biodynamic cuvée produced in the Côte des Bar. Its name is inspired by Europe in 1989, the year of the fall of the Berlin Wall, a symbolic event of rebirth and unity.
The blend combines 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay, the latter bringing an ethereal and floral touch of elegance. About 40% comes from reserve wines aged in oak tuns, ensuring depth and stylistic continuity. Vinification takes place in stainless-steel vats and fût de chêne, with full malolactic fermentation. After tirage, the wine ages for at least 30 months on the lees, with no final dosage, achieving a Brut Nature style that is pure and incisive.
On the palate, Fleur de l’Europe reveals exceptional finesse: its bright golden hue opens to aromas of honey, acacia and subtle floral notes. The mouthfeel is ample and generous, enlivened by a surprising freshness and a saline, tense finish, giving the sip energy, vibrancy, and irresistible precision.
