Champagne Elemart Robion
60/40 Millésime Magnum 2018
The Champagne 60/40 Millésime 2018 is one of the first vintage expressions released by Elemart Robion, embodying the identity of the Vallée de l’Ardre. The blend combines 60% Meunier and 40% Chardonnay, two complementary varieties that, in this particularly generous vintage, come together in a harmonious and enveloping balance. The grapes come from vineyards located near the villages of Lhéry and Courtagnon, rooted in clay-limestone soils that contribute to defining the character of the wine.
Vinification, carried out strictly in stainless steel, follows a philosophy focused on expressive transparency and respect for the fruit. After fermentation, the wine matures on the lees for at least 60 months, developing both complexity and structure while preserving its original freshness. The Extra Brut dosage, limited to just 3 g/l, reflects the producer’s intent to let the terroir and the vintage speak clearly.
On the palate, 60/40 Millésime 2018 stands out for its welcoming softness and sunny profile. Aromas of ripe yellow fruit, toasted hazelnut, and dried flowers emerge, enriched by mineral hints and touches of brioche. The palate is round yet supported by vibrant freshness, with a finish that plays on citrusy and saline notes, leaving an impression of balance and continuity.
