Champagne Benoît Lahaye
Brut Nature Magnum
The Champagne Brut Nature by Benoit Lahaye is a cuvée that captures the most authentic essence of the Montagne de Reims, expressing with precision and depth the character of the Grands Crus of Bouzy and Ambonnay. The blend consists of approximately 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, including a portion of vin de réserve perpétuelle, bearing witness to the Domaine’s historical memory.
Vinification takes place in fût de chêne, following Lahaye’s artisanal and non-interventionist philosophy, aimed at preserving the integrity of the fruit and the vitality of the terroir. The wine is then aged on its lees for a minimum of 24 months, with no dosage added – in true Brut Nature style – to deliver a pure and unfiltered expression of its origin.
On the palate, the Brut Nature reveals a dense and vibrant profile, with citrus and saline notes interwoven with hints of crisp red fruits and chalk. The mouthfeel is tense, precise, sculpted by the verticality of the Pinot Noir and the freshness of the Chardonnay, leading to a deeply mineral finish.
