Champagne André Heucq
Héritage Rosé de Meunier
The Champagne Rosè de Meunier by André Heucq is part of the Héritage collection and fruit of 100% Meunier grapes harvested from a plot - lieu-dit of over 50 years of age - called Bout de la Ville, located near the village of Cuisles. Vinification and first fermentation take place in "cement eggs" and aging on its own yeasts lasts for at least 36 months. Authentic and expressive Champagne Rosé de Saignée.
The Champagne Rosé de Meunier by André Heucq is very expressive and frank, crisy to the nose. You can perceive the red fruits, of course, but also peony, licorice and a certain vinosity that brings depth. The attack on the palate is wide and opens on a full and fleshy mouth, then little by little the effervescence and the bite of liveliness are affirmed to remind us that we are still tasting a product from the Champagne region. The dosage plays a moderating role and brings the necessary temperature to smooth everything out. So the texture is at once thick, tight and firm like a dense velvet and razor-sharp. The finish is aromatic and very long. It ends on a note of "liquorice", slightly salty and bitter.
It is a Champagne Rosé of great character, to be tasted at the table with tender red meat (carpaccio, roast beef or fillet of beef) or with a fruit salad with red predominance.
