The Champagne Les Sablons by Durdon Bouval is conceived as an identity-driven interpretation of a unique vineyard: the lieu-dit Les Sablons, a parcel of Meunier that combines family tradition with a precise reading of the terroir. The ideal exposure and sandy soils with deep layers of limestone shape an essential, clean and territorial expression, designed to highlight authenticity, transparency, and mineral tension.

This edition, 2021 harvest, undergoes stainless-steel vinification aimed at preserving aromatic purity and linearity. After tirage, the wine ages for 24 months on the lees, developing a refined and dry profile. No final dosage, in a Brut Nature style, which enhances precision, verticality, and overall balance, allowing the fruit’s substance and the personality of the lieu-dit to emerge without filters.

During tasting, Les Sablons opens with a clear spectrum of white fruit, citrus, light hints of small red berries, and a mineral touch linked to the sandy and limestone soils. On the nose it also reveals notes of wildflowers and fresh almond, while on the palate the wine shows incisive freshness, balanced structure, and a mineral tension that brings depth and precision. The fruity notes blend with subtle accents of light spices and a hint of toasted bread from the lees aging. The finish is long, dry, and perfectly balanced.
