The Champagne Rosé La Saignée by Voirin-Jumel originates in the Côte des Blancs, a territory renowned for finesse and balance, here interpreted through a more intense and structured lens. This label reflects the Domaine’s commitment to enhancing Pinot Noir with a distinctive approach, capable of expressing territorial character, substance, and stylistic precision. Work in the estate-owned parcels is carried out with artisanal care, seeking coherence between soil, microclimate, and production philosophy, along a path that prioritizes authenticity and balance.

This Edition n° 5/5, with a 2022 base vintage, follows the saignée method, featuring a short maceration on the skins to encourage natural extraction of color, aromas, and structure. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by aging on the lees for a minimum of 24 months. The final dosage of 5 g/l, in Brut style, preserves tension and clarity, maintaining balance and stylistic consistency.

On tasting, Rosé La Saignée shows an intense pink hue with ruby reflections. The aromatic profile recalls wild strawberry, raspberry, red currant, and delicate floral nuances. On the palate it reveals a full structure, supported by vertical freshness and a precise fruity texture. The persistence is continuous and well-defined, with a balance that combines energy and ripeness, resulting in a rosé Champagne of assertive character and refined harmony.
