The Champagne Rosé "second skin" by Ruinart comes in an innovative, eco-designed case, made from 100% recyclable paper and shaped to follow the curves of the bottle. It is 9 times lighter than the previous model and, produced without any recourse to air transport, reduces its carbon footprint by 60% — the crowning achievement of the House's commitment to environmental sustainability. Inside lies the Rosé cuvée whose history has been written since the eighteenth century and which still today embodies the elegance and finesse of one of the oldest Champagne Houses, founded in 1729. Its identity comes to life from the meeting between the aromatic freshness of Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims and the fruity character of Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne, in a blend that combines roundness and delicate structure under the unmistakable signature of the Ruinart taste.

This Rosé takes shape from a blend of 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir — of which a part is vinified as white wine and 12% vinified as red — enriched by a proportion of between 20% and 30% of vin de réserve from various vintages. Vinification and fermentation take place at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks and continue with malolactic fermentation, followed by 30 months of ageing on the lees, up to a final dosage in the Brut style, which rounds out the profile with balance and heightens the aromatic vivacity of this Rosé Champagne.

On tasting, Ruinart Rosé stands out for its freshness, roundness and finesse rather than its power, revealing a robe in shades of coral and rosewood animated by a lively, light perlage. The nose opens with intense aromas of exotic fruits such as pomegranate, lychee and guava, supported by floral essences of rose and hints of freshly picked red fruits, rounded off by touches of warm spices such as tonka bean and nutmeg. On the palate, freshness intertwines with a fine structure and a delicate roundness, sustained by a refined persistence that closes on notes of peppermint and pink grapefruit — fully in keeping with the elegant style that has accompanied the Maison since its very origins.
