Les Commes
The Champagne Les Commes by Petit Clergeot is a Blanc de Noirs made exclusively from Pinot Noir, sourced from the namesake lieu-dit planted in 1971 near the village of Polisot, in the Côte des Bar. The 2021 harvest was vinified in small stainless steel tanks, a method that preserves the integrity and freshness of the fruit. The wine then aged on the lees for 36 months, developing depth and complexity. The absence of final dosage enhances the wine’s natural character and purity, making Les Commes a true expression of its terroir. Structured yet elegant, it stands out for its aromatic precision and perfect balance between freshness and depth.
Visually, Les Commes is bright and clear. On the nose and palate, crisp fruity notes emerge, with dominant hints of white-fleshed fruits such as apple and a touch of quince, complemented by nuances of red berries and citrus fruits like lemon, mandarin, and grapefruit. A subtle waxy note adds further complexity, enriching the aromatic bouquet.
