The Champagne Horizon by Pascal Doquet takes shape in the Coteaux Vitryats, a less conventional area of Champagne where Chardonnay reveals a taut and luminous profile. Born from organically farmed vineyards, this Blanc de Blancs interprets a terroir rich in biodiversity, where wild plants grow among the vines and contribute to soil vitality. Horizon conveys a clear vision: to enhance energy, territorial identity, and expressive transparency through rigorous work that respects natural balance.

This edition, with a 2021 base vintage, is composed of 22% from the 2021 harvest and 78% from a Réserve Perpétuelle started in 2012 and refreshed each year with half of the new wines, a practice that ensures stylistic continuity and depth. Vinification takes place in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts to preserve aromatic precision and fruit integrity. After tirage, the wine ages on its lees for at least 36 months, helping to define structure and complexity. The dosage of 3 g/l, in Extra Brut style, maintains a dry profile and highlights tension and mineral clarity.

On the nose, Horizon reveals aromas of fresh citrus, white flowers, and subtle chalky nuances, accompanied by hints of green apple and fresh almond. On the palate, it stands out for its drive and verticality, supported by a fine texture and a vibrant saline imprint. The structure is precise and linear, with an elegant mousse leading to a persistent finish, balanced between freshness and delicate creaminess.
