The Champagne Rosé L’Incandescent by Mouzon-Leroux is a cuvée of extraordinary personality, capable of expressing with rare precision the excellence of the Montagne de Reims terroir. Obtained exclusively from Pinot Noir originating from the Grand Cru of Verzy, this Rosé reflects the strength and finesse of an area characterized by silex-rich soils, elements that give the wine a vibrant and deeply distinctive minerality.

This edition, vintage 2020, is crafted according to the traditional Rosé de Saignée method, with a 14-hour maceration of the grapes on the skins, a technique that gives the wine an intense color and a broad, multi-layered aromatic complexity. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in neutral oak barrels, while aging extends for at least 36 months on the lees. The final dosage of only 2.5 g/l, in Extra Brut style, fully preserves the purity of the fruit and the transparency of the terroir, emphasizing the tension and precision of the Pinot Noir from Verzy.

On tasting, L’Incandescent presents a bright rosé hue with copper reflections. On the nose it reveals a deep and enveloping bouquet, dominated by notes of strawberry and ripe cherry, enriched by nuances of lavender, rose petals, pomegranate, and a delicate spicy vein. On the palate it shows structure and intensity, with a creamy texture supported by a vibrant acidity that lends drive and balance. The texture is fine yet incisive, leading to a long, mineral, and highly persistent finish, perfectly consistent with the identity of the terroir and the artisanal vision of the Domaine.
