Founded in 1812, when André-Michel Pierlot settled in Tours-sur-Marne, the Maison Laurent-Perrier was born in a village classified as Grand Cru, at the crossroads of Champagne's three great vineyard areas. After the stewardship of Eugène Laurent and his widow Mathilde-Émilie Perrier, who gave the Maison its name, the house passed in 1939 to the de Nonancourt family. Bernard de Nonancourt led it through the postwar years with an independent and visionary spirit, transforming it into one of the region's largest and most creative houses.

Laurent-Perrier's success rests on the values handed down by Bernard de Nonancourt and preserved today by Alexandra Pereyre and Stéphanie Meneux de Nonancourt, who carry forward its philosophy: respect for nature and for the wines, the pursuit of quality, and lasting relationships with those who work there. Family-owned and independent to this day, the Maison has always played a pioneering role in Champagne, distinguished by its art of blending. The historic caves of Tours-sur-Marne, carved into the subsoil, hold thousands of bottles in the slow repose of maturation.

The Maison's style draws on more than 150 hectares of vineyards spread across the Montagne de Reims, the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne, and is built on the predominance of Chardonnay, which lends freshness, purity and elegance, supported by Pinot Noir and a small share of Meunier. A pioneer of sustainable viticulture, the Maison vinifies its wines separately by terroir, keeping their character constant over time. In this way Laurent-Perrier continues to express, harvest after harvest, the authentic identity of Champagne.
