Harmony
The Champagne Harmony by Laurent-Perrier is a Demi-Sec that ties the thread back to the most ancient traditions of Champagne, when bubbles with a perceptible sugar residue were the wine for grand occasions in the 18th century. Round and delicate, it rediscovers with elegance a pleasure of bygone times, expressing it in the fresh, refined style of the Maison. It is a creation that interweaves memory and modernity, conceived to accompany the convivial moment of dessert and the contrasts between sweet and savoury, where the generosity of the fruit meets a freshness that always keeps its measure intact.
This edition shows a predominance of Chardonnay grapes at 45%, among the highest in the category, completed by 40% Pinot Noir and 15% Meunier, from over 55 crus across Champagne. The blend is enriched by a proportion of vin de réserve that ensures consistency and depth. The final dosage of 40 g/l, in Demi-Sec style, obtained with a liqueur of cane sugar and wine from the same cuvée, defines its harmonious sweetness.
On the palate, Harmony appears with an intense, brilliant golden yellow colour traversed by a soft effervescence that heralds a generous profile. On the nose it reveals itself as intense and rich, with notes of dried fruit such as almond and hazelnut accompanied by toasted accents that, with ageing, evolve towards nuances of honey and pine resin. On the palate it is full-bodied and enveloping, with a balance that governs the dialogue between sweetness and freshness, while the persistence unfolds generous and coherent, prolonging the close with elegance and without any cloying quality.
