The Champagne Rosé de Saignée by Larmandier-Bernier originates from a selection of parcels located in the Côte des Blancs, where the house also interprets the more textured and structured side of Pinot Noir. This cuvée represents an authentic expression of maceration rosé, produced using the saignée method, a technique that allows color, aromas, and texture to be extracted directly from the skins. Vineyard management follows the principles of organic farming, with the aim of preserving vitality and the precise expression of the terroir.

This is a Rosé made predominantly from Pinot Noir, vinified with a short maceration on the skins to encourage natural extraction of color and structure. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in casks and vats, followed by aging on the lees for at least 24 months. The restrained dosage, in Extra Brut style, maintains a dry and dynamic profile, while vinification in wood contributes depth and complexity without weighing down the overall balance.

On tasting, this Rosé de Saignée displays an intense, luminous pink hue with a fine and persistent mousse. The nose reveals notes of red berries, pomegranate, and orange zest, accompanied by light spicy nuances and a subtle mineral trace. On the palate, the attack is decisive, supported by vibrant freshness and a structured texture; the progression is energetic, with fruity echoes leading to a long, savory, and harmonious finish.
